Written as a teen..

I am NOT running away.
How was I to know
that there was no place to go?
No Home.
How was I to know..
That love was lost
Not just for a day
But forever
Desperate for deliverance..
from a life
I could not tolerate.
I left
On a mission
To find where I belong
To find I don't ....
Belong.
Looking for a sanctuary
that does not exist.
I return
In disgrace
I submerge myself
In desperation
In frustration..
No longer believing in ...
love.
No longer dreaming of ...
home.
I have failed life ...
So I stand-
alone

Never too late to WIN at life. It's all in what you focus on. Postive, you get positive, the negative, you get the negative. Good work. Thoughtful.
It takes you to a dark place in the company of two of New York's finest detectives as they go the extra mile to bring a sadistic serial killer to justice.
