She smiles; nature does its sunrise dance
verbal prose of eloquence
he rests in a beguiled trance
a perfect feast a perfect romance.
Her heart so pure and heaven sent
her heart so pure and radiant
her heart so pure and content
her heart so pure and innocent.
She smiles and his heart doth sing
her touch more delicate than a butterfly’s wing
her kiss sends his heart a fluttering
her breasts he dreams of gently kneading.
Her flowing hair removes despair
sunlight sprays through the air
angelic rays through leafy trees
lights upon a maiden fair.
A perfect feast a perfect romance
delightfully she enchants
her love is one of magnificence
she smiles; nature does its sunset dance.
My my my...
Sunset will have his romance,
With this one comes the dance.
That smile, that look, these two do know,
Beneath this veil, a river flows....
morning, noon and night, this poet is entranced by the object of his admiration, his affection and his desire. the observations are rose-tinted and perfumed with delight, co-mingled with longing and a distanced respect. The stuff of dreams for certain sure. Love the emphasis in the mind's eye of "pure", denoting both unassailability and perhaps unattainability. Hushed and awed romance at it's best. xx
Hi Andy, now i know you are one hopeless romantic, like many of us. this is just so sweet and romantic, i don't know if i could ever write one along these lines... (...and i thought you're one supporter of the eds who want to boycott Valentine's day! lol!) Happy Valentine's day! :) :) :)
As perfect as the title Andy. Lovely sentiments and images.

Beautiful - from sunrise to sunset. I like "verbal prose of eloquence/ he rests in a beguiled trance..." I see this loving poem presented on ivory parchment written in dark brown calligraphy and left alongside a lovely bouquet!
Ah yes ... the breasts. Needing and then kneading, lovingly, like a gifted potter at his wheel. Yupperbud! A heart filled with God wrote this lovely piece chum. Blessings ...

Lovely.....could this maiden be perhaps the mermaid you spoke of in your comments on my "Tidal Trinkets". The imagery paints a picture of an enchanting creature...
Andy, I think you got it right on my man,"A Perfect Romance" -- when a man's heart does a dance his feet and mind cannot keep time with --good stuff here, enjoyed it -- peace and love my friend -- JM
