Integrating into western society does not mean losing your identity and existence as a moslem. Be tolerant to other cultures and beliefs. Learn from them and let them learn from you. You are not forced to take something you think is morally offensive to your religion and please don't force others follow your way of life if they don't want it. Stay and live with others as people of the same nation with diverse cultural and religious beliefs respecting each other in the realm of humanity.
Before you came to this western nation
You were a moslem in a moslem country
But surely you were an oppressed moslem
Your religious rights were violated
Never were you able to preach freely
You were being hunted like a gazzele
You developed the insticts of a rabbit
You were seen as a threat to stability
You then defected to Europe or America
You were given food and shelter
You enjoyed protection and security
You built mosques in everywhere
You tasted religious freedom for the first time
You exercised your rights without fear
Oh brothers
Before you preach of hatred brother
Please remember the bad old days
Days when you were unable to congregate
Days when you were jailed and tortured
Intolerance is purely unIslamic
Be a good moslem brother
Give back a fair receprocate

we are all human.I TRY to follow the teachings of Christ
(failing more often than not)but I know one thing for sure,Jesus would really like the words you wrote.He believed in love.

Abdi Noor, if only others would feel like you no matter their nation or creed, this would be a much better world, and there would be less wars.It's such a shame that people just don't think about who they listen to and how they behave.
