She is an African woman undergoing tremendous pain as a result of rape inflicted upon her by a man belonging to a rival clan after his militia had raided their village. He killed her husband and sexually assaulted her.

Only the mother knows about it

I concur with E T Waldron--you need to write her tale. Who but one who has seen her pain? Who but one she trusts with her story? You would be saving many more women the heartbreak...just a thought. An excellent, heartbreaking write.
Abdi Noor this is a book you could write, perhaps the help would be to get it recognized! This is a superb poem of weighty matters that sear the senses!I hope you can find the way. Keeping her and the situation in prayer.
It would take a very compassionate writer who knows her tremendous pain extremely well to do this story justice, Abdi-Noor. I think you would be the perfect choice.

Whew! Hell of a thing here. If I wasn't so harried by my own works I would look into it, allthough I don't know if I could do it justice, because of the culture difference, but I sure would be interesting. By the way, I love the interpretation of the three brothers.
