Looking at the current political atmosphere in Somalia, it is very clear that politicians have no stand. The two functions of the government going together, Barre Hiiraale and Abdullahi Yusuf in the same boat, Qanyare, Yalahow and Abdiqasim reading from the Ethiopian script! All this is an indication that politics has no direction and politicians have no position. This also applies to the rest of the world, specially developing countries where one is politically significant when s/he joins those in power.

Yep, the alliances shift like the sands of a windy desert, Abdi-Noor. It is very much for the moment and not a dyed in the wool forever bond. Loyalty does not even enter the equation. It is all a big chess game and the people are the pawns.
