This write is based on a previous one I posted in 2004.
Some people say the heart has one function only and that is to pump blood. Period!
Does it not have other functions?
After all doctors say it circulates blood and saints preach the importance of making your heart clean, not clinically but spiritually. But in the case of poets, the heart is where we feel love. Who do we believe?
The Heart
Is it just an organ albeit important?
Or is it an eternal path to meet God?
The Heart
Is it the seat of pain and pleasure?
Is it the room where we store love?
To your assessment what is the Heart?
The heart is the motor that keeps circulating what

This is a good one--It is worth meditating on. I will do just that today. I think it is for both purposes. It is the motor of the body but it is also the feeling part where God dwells in us. It as a duel purpose; mechanical and spiritual and it is the part of us that can bring us to heaven or to hell. Will keekp this in mind for a long time. Marguerite
