some poems pay a visit while a poet is asleep. some can bring the words back to write it; others simply can't. I belong to the latter faction.
I saw a rainbow of love
Cutting across the sky
I saw the bird of peace
Winging with pleasure
I saw the flower of joy
Enchanting with delight
I saw the moon of hope
Smiling behind a cloud
As I captured the scene
I wrote a fantastic poem
A beautifully penned one
With a marvelous flow
I edited and uploaded it
Reviews trickled down
They were all amazing
Twin sisters stopped by
But to my sheer dismay
It didn’t appear at the Den
In a deep sleep I did write it
It was all a dream. uuh!
