Now in Mogadishu we have high civilian casualty as two opposing sides: the government and remnants of islamic courts are exchanging heavy artillery without showing any concern to the innocent and vulnerable communities living in the city.
Latest victims of these fierce and rather inhumane attacks were a family of seven members. They all belonged to the same family in the same house sharing bread during breakfast time but well before savouring it, received a bomb explosion inside their house, hurting them all: from the eldest to the youngest (a one-year old boy) who was seriously wounded after a sharpnel deeply penetrated his back. And sadly enough, hospitals are receiving more than they can treat which surely means that this child will bleed to death. Sad again.
It was an unexpected visitor
Who came not through the door
But insolently crashed the roof
Destroying a peaceful morning
Bringing grisly scenes of horror
Turning the lovely moments of joy
Into a bloody tragedy beyond belief
It was a mortar bomb aimed at an enemy
But unfortunately landed on a family
Who a short while ago shared a bread
But ended up sharing unbearable pain
As the genocide days went on the world's journalists didn't give a damn because black were killing blacks, but if you know of some whites involved...we will print it first page with one foot big letters and hold it for months until everyone in the world had heard the horrible story.

Let their minds not be poisoned by the actions of those who have committed this crime against them. Let them learn to forgive, to reach out to others going through this with arms of love.
