the Somali activist, Medina Generale died while giving hope to those whos hope had been shattered by endless wars in Mogadishu.
Death
Do you have a shape
A color or identity?
Are you a beauty rustler
Or a robber of beloved ones?
You have stolen Medina's soul
You have made away with a star
An activist with moral convictions
You targeted her at the wrong time
But she was then at the right place
She was delivering food to war victims
May Allah rest her soul in peace
Amin
It happens and you sometimes question why them why at this time? and i think it is to move those scard, to come together or those who see that that one person is doing i think it is a call to action sometimes and sometimes i don't think of it at all (defeated) sad write
I am so sad to hear about this loss. Yet, in my heart, I believe that she is in a much better place to aid your cause. I pray that your countryment will keep her and her ideals in their forefront and that her memory will guide them to a better place.
THE WAR IS ON FOR WORLD PEACE. Keep the faith. Listen to Mr Ed below. Read Laurie Conrad's message to the world and my response. She is a member of AD. I REPEATE 'KEEP THE FAITH'
Painful to read. Now you step in Medina Generale's shoes and continue to be an activist through your poetry. This will be a most effective eulogy to his memory.
(((HUGS))), love and prayer, Karla.

Abdi-Noor, when will Somalia's agony cease? An old story told of a monk who rushed iut into the gladiator's arena, where the fighter were lined up to butcher each other, crying again and again, "In the name of God, stop!" A fighter was so angered he ran his sword through the monk.
People realised what had happened, and the movement to close the Roman gladiator fights grew, demanding the those who followed Jesus Christ could not kill their fellow humans.
East and West, the pain of such sacrifice is the same. Where is Somalia's peace, where can Medina's blood, which cries out to all of us, find final rest?
It wasn't solely the dead of an activist, it was also the dead of another little bit of Somalia, and if we let it go further, the stench from a dead Gentle Nation will cling on our souls foreve.

New Poetry by Abdi-Noor Haji Mohamed (Eagle Of Hope)
In a near-future Baltimore, an unemployed bipolar journalist and a teenage hacker are the last hope for a dystopian world controlled by a giant media corporation.
Love, romance, innocence, intrigue, danger, and lust. Life is complicated, and love even more so. Life, and love, can be hazardous to a lady's health. Especially if she's fallen in love with a married pop star.
