As I stroll on the beaches of the 2007 I enjoy the sound of the rumbling waves , which evoke memories of joy, pleasure and even sadness when considered the events that have been taking place in Somalia over the past 12 months. But still I see 2007 as a year of success and look forward to a better world in the years that lie ahead where people of different religions and cultural backgrounds can share life on basis of humanity.

December is the end of each year It is time to review resolutions But I love this year's December In it I see a speck of pure success Shining brightly deep in my heart Taking me to retreats of mental peace Bringing me in mutual contact with my dreams As I surf the pages of my 2007 plans I feel pleased with my accomplishments Though at times sad emotions punctuate the visit Somalia is sheltering in the sound of explosions
