The wife of a poet is showing her frustration with poetry which robs husband attention away from her. The same story goes around men married to women writers and poetesses. But this is just fiction, not me not you, not anybody else but something i guess can happen in such relationships.
Oh my dear love
I am here for you
Right beside you
Ready to please you
But in the mirror of love
I see no image of passion
You feel not my presence
As you are lost in your dreams
Romancing with words to write poetry
Dancing with them in heights of ecstasy
Smithing them with kisses of love fire
You have left my heart alone in pain
Shadowed by the charm of your darling
Who made me feel markedly jealous
As she forced me to swap a husband
Whom I can not afford to share
But I know how to win you back
I would become a piece of music
A melody of the highest inspiration
Singing in the depths of your soul
Creating an environment
Where I and Poetry can coexist
If I can,t get rid of the rustler
I must find a way to live with it
After all if love starts limping
One should not let it fall down
Tolerance must be its crutches
Wise reminder desert wandering man, I see you in the future white bearded in front an oasis campfire telling, with a generous voice, caravans passing by, the virtues of tolerance.
Wow this one makes me really think...I think you're perfect the way you are and if I had to pick but one word for you it would be Perfect...as this poem..Love and hugs, Bonnie

How so very true, no matter what we do.
I love the smooth way this one runs. Maybe you should send it to Marcia with "Valentine's Day" as the subject line.
Write on, Poet!
