Jon has echoed the sentiment of most Americans ... he made an excellent case synthesizing the psyche, political conditions and social regards of those legally inhabit its landscape ... hopefully one day, the universal citizen will prevail but not before assimilating into the culture of his abode ...

Abdi-Noor, I will share with you the perspective of the majority of Americans to immigrants, mostly illegal in our case. They willingly ceded their freedoms and all possibilities for a rewarding life. They did not and do stand and fight so they lack the will and courage to resist oppression and abject poverty. They lack a cohesive purpose in life. They lack unity. Now they come to my land illegally over fences under fences in vehicles and on aircraft, knowingly, willingly violating my nation's immigration laws. Once here they illegally violate our laws by availing themselves of our health care, at no cost! -- our education system, at no cost! -- take our jobs at low wages -- have children that our taxes pay $1500.00/month to support -- receive food stamps, illegally which we pay for with our taxes -- protest in the streets for their rights! --commit crimes and few are ever held accountable because they simply flee to another location, undocumented, untraceable -- they receive our Social Security at rates above that of legal citizens! -- yet they were unwilling to fight for those very same freedoms, rights and privileges in their native lands -- legal Americans fought and died and continue to do so for our freedoms, our wealth, our democracy and our republic -- let these interlopers return to their native lands and make the same sacrifices we have had to make if they truly want equality and the respect of the legal citizens of the world -- we earned what we have with blood, unity of purpose and determination -- no one should be able to simply demand from us what we sacrificed our all for -- America does not posses enough natural resources to support the extra tens of millions of illegal and legal immigrants we currently have -- we do not have the infrastructure to support them -- we do not have the wealth to support them -- there exists no land of milk and honey -- there does exist though a land for every native people to have the kind of existence they are willingly to make the ultimate sacrifices to achieve -- perhaps this is closer to the reality of European perspectives for their situation -- I believe Europeans may have with kind hearts permitted far more immigrants than their lands and economies are capable of supporting -- in America, the illegal immigrants and most legal immigrants Do Not want to be integrated into the American Society. They choose to always live together and to speak their own languages rather than English. These things also cause continual aggro in our society. They always expect Americans to be tolerant of them while refusing to be tolerant of the natural born citizens. The answer my friend lies in the will of the immigrants to reclaim their home lands from the oppressors. Otherwise they never really valued them in the first place. In the final analysis only the dedicated, educated and united natives of any land are capable of returning their homes to the people. I value you as a citizen of the world and den friend Abdi-Noor. I also have great empathy for your plight. Otherwise I would not have spent the time to share this perspective with you. In the final analysis this issue is not about race, color, creed or religious diversity. It is all about individual and collective will. i think they've already met, Abdi-Noor,
and meet every day, and the meetings are often less
than amicable; as a foreigner (but now citizen)
living here in Singapore i feel i've been lucky
as this is a generally tolerant and well integrated
society - no, it isn't perfect but it certainly knows
the right approach.
