Love So Wild

Jealousy exists on so many levels
There is the one where I envy the people in your life
The real ones
You know who there are
They are the ones who are lucky enough to look at you
And have you look back at them
Those who are really in your presence
Day in and day out
They are so lucky they get to hear your soft voice
And see your gentle way
Like when you teach them something new
Always teaching
Always reaching for a higher level
I miss those moments that were so few
Stolen moments in time
Of a life we shared
I accept what we are now
I accept my place
Of knowing you
And yet never really knowing you
Seeing you, without seeing you
My silent lover
Me, always living on the outskirts of your life
And dreaming into the night
Whispering wishes only you get to hear
Into your virtual ear
Oh and those occasional reassuring points when we meet
And you tell me
You miss me too
Letting me know that I am a part of you
Of your life
Those sweet moments
They keep me going
Knowing I am really with you
Only I know that is not entirely true
We are marginal companions
Sharing brief
Silent moments
An unrequited passion
Ughhhhhhhh….I think I am seriously demented
But what is life without love
In all of its peculiar forms
And the dare to find it
To feel it
To know it
Within every cell
Every nucleus
Every corpuscle
Every neuron
Every muscle
Even the one within our hearts
As it beats a little faster
Like when I hear your voice
Or when we smile at each other
Or when we touched, brushed
Gently
Sensually
Like touch never existed
Before it existed for us
Ahhhhh love is so grand
And so dangerous
So wild

Wonderful. Having at least something of him (him missing you, hearing his voice, having his attention) is better than nothing at all, I'd say. Enjoyed this one. And agree. Love is dangerous. Love. S.

Makes me think of two different conversations happening. One is in one room the other in the next. There is one conversant in each room who is half participating, half eaves dropping on the talk in the adjacent room. There's more but I think you can see where I'm going.
