Never Forever Frozen In Time

Wandering warrior lost in the wilderness of snow
Separated from his army unit, very alone and cold
Looking for some food and water to fuel his depleted soul
Wounded by an enemy’s bullet, now memory unknown
Off in the distance, in his field of vision, he sees an old wise man
Shaman of sorts who lends a helping hand
Elder provides water for the soldier; mother healing first aid, wife cooks lamb
After recovery, the soldier meets his beautiful daughter Ann
Young woman warms the soldiers aching ice cold heart
Sadly however, she can’t mend his broken mind on her part
So, the wandering warrior goes back on his way and departs
To once again find his fellow soldiers in arms who are now miles apart
The soldier drifts into a fearsome forest frozen in time, stranded in a jungle of vines
No hope at all of finding that god’s path home, that invisible line
But to his surprise he encounters a wild beast of the other kind
They fight for survival, and the monster becomes blind
Around the creatures neck he removes an old compass
A chain necklace made of silver and gold that helps him navigate out of the forest
Finally he finds his army unit, and is free from that nasty mess
The freedom fighter now lives with an internal state of bliss
