MERRY CHRISTMAS 2008

As 2008 comes to an end,
I think back
over the year,
remembering each family and friend.

The 2nd year
without Don by my side.
But I have wonderful memories
to look back upon with pride.

Jeffrey is happy as a bachelor.
He and his dog, Vinnie, have lots of fun.
One day that special girl will catch him,
no matter how fast he tries to run.

Heather, a beautiful bride
soon to be,
years of happiness will follow,
when she become Mrs. Keith Dean.

My mother is well
and lives near to me.
She never seems to age
as everyone can plainly see.

I'm trying to date again,
as nervous as can be.
I'm sure the rules have changed,
since I was in my teens.

Looking for someone to share
happiness, laughter and smiles.
Someone to travel with me
along life's last miles.

That covers my little family
and me.
We're all happy and healthy
as you can easily see.
