True Honesty

They say that time, heals the pain
Without much hope, too late to blame
Can’t go back, can’t change the past
What’s done is done, too late to last

I’m worried how, it’ll look to you
What you’ll think, what will you do?
How you’ll react, to my stupid song
Prolly in the worst way, but I could be wrong

A broken heart, a tear glass eye
The feel of shame, the question why
How stupid now, could I be
I still love you, you don’t love me

I remember how, you told me those things
I’m still confused on, how deep the meanings?
I know how you feel, quite, I know that you care
I want you to love me, how I wish I was there

Still I can’t, it won’t come true
No matter how much, I say I love you
Things happen for a reason, is what you say to me
How the best thing is, true honesty

A broken heart, a tear glass eye
The feel of shame, the question why
How stupid now, could I be
I still love you, you don’t love me

I'm pouring out my feelings, one by one
Unable to write, truth I've begun
I might not get, it all out here
Still I'll write, stop, now too hard to hear

Still I want you, still I need you
I wish I could hear those, things back from you
I've cried so hard, I've cried so long
I just want a chance, now is that so wrong?

A broken heart, a tear glass eye
The feel of shame, the question why
How stupid now, could I be
I still love you, you don’t love me

I just wanna be, the girl you see
When you close your eyes, I wish it was me
I just wanna be, without a doubt
The one you write, your lyrics about

The beauty within, how you express
Like the dark night sky, magic no less
Some far place out there, like my shooting star
I wonder can you hear me, I wonder where you are

A broken heart, a tear glass eye
The feel of shame, the question why
How stupid now, could I be
I still love you, you don’t love me

When your head goes down, when out goes the light
Do you think about me? If so, what's it like?
Am I just someone, a girl on the net
Or do I have a place, where am I kept?

Does this scare you? Should I just stop?
Control my emotions, just let it drop
Or is this alright, is it okay?
Why am I asking, I'll still feel this way

A broken heart, a tear glass eye
The feel of shame, the question why
How stupid now, could I be
I still love you, you don’t love me

I see her now, in my thoughts
Of what she is, and what I’m not
Can’t compete, so sad it’s true
Tear-stained sheets, still close to you

A broken heart, a tear glass eye
The feel of shame, the question why
How stupid now, could I be
I still love you, you don’t love me

A broken heart, a tear glass eye
The feel of shame, the question why
How stupid now, could I be
I still love you, you don’t love me

I still need you, still tears fall
Please don’t change, think of it all
I still have hope, who knows with time
Whatever may be, forever a friend of mine
