Critters Rain

Everything is possible when we fool with Mother Nature!

Better grab your gear,
else recline inside.
It is raining critters
and there's no place to hide.
They're really heavy drops
which sometimes do flip-flops.
They'll drop on your head,
dig in with their claws.
The ones ev'ryone fears--
St. Bernards--defy laws.
It's hard to accept rain
which gives us so much pain.
It once rained water
but the water's dry.
A whirling vortex straws
and drops 'things' on the sly.
We wasted our assets
now we're having our 'regrets'.
Out in the country
things are dangerous.
Humans wear leaded shoes . . .
lest it start raining 'us'.
I'm starting to fall. You?
We're bound to hit a few.
It's a rain of critters
who sometimes split, splatter.

Funny, in one of my many moods the other day, I bought a CD by the "Critters", had "Younger Girl and Mr.Dieingly Sad" on it.
