Must it Be!

by Ch'erie

As she sat upon her bed, staring blankly out her window,
She wondered why, why must it be?

For so long love had eluded her like shadows in the twilight hours! Like mercury slipping through wafer thin paper

She thought of how he might of felt, his face pressed deeply up against her's, his mouth engulfing her tenderized lips.

His strong arms wrapped tightly about her body, with his manhood pressing against her in earnst need!

Whispering kindness like ripened pomegrantes
sweet reposes like candy coated apples

Her spine shivered, and her legs tingled
at the thought of his entering her realms

She wondered why it must be that the depth of love she craved almost incessantly, be forever denied

Watching two Doves settle on her window sill
cooing their sweet lovers song

It brought tears to her eyes, only to be quickly suppressed
into an abyss of heartthrobbing pain

There is no point she reasoned, no point going there,
once again internalizing every fibre of her being

She erected up those seemingly inpenetrable walls
Ignoring the intense aching within...

and the rumblings of an unexploded volcano
brewing for it's day of reckoning

Yes it must me!

For now.

Very intense romance heartache and longing stirred in with the wants of a passionate woman to create this masterpiece of melancholly. Ahh Cherry Pie you know how to pull at the heartstrings and awaken the soul. Arms that reach forever needing.

A colorful and introspective image.

Love the simile you use Ch'erie. You've been writing really good as of late, and I've been enjoying it immensely. Brava!

Resisting love of such intensity after such a long absence is painful indeed, especially too when the hunger is there but nonetheless the barriers are swiftly erected. Poignant stuff.
