WOW Fantastic Present Thank you Aunty Dolly Feigns smile, rolls eyes turns green about the same shade as the tree, from whence it just came from, "this is so so...neat! Thinks to self, I got a foot warmer last year, sheesh! Now what do I do with the stupid thing, hmmmm........... EBAY. Logs on Oh No, theres 100's Can't even auction it off.. What a lopsided Christmas!
Notice to all Grandparents, Parents, Aunts and Uncles! DO NOT BUY TIE'S, SOCKS, JOCKS, or other undesirable items for your loved ones. They WILL end up on EBAY, and even though you don't know what the heck that is, trust me, it's not good! There's little respect for YOU in this world anymore, Kids want Ipods...Transformers, Playstations, TMNT suits and accessories, Notebooks, small or large... You know, just the usual inexpensive stuff like that.
Footwarmers are definately a no brainer!

Well after listening to the childrens Christmas wishes for the last month or so I have a deep understanding of what this write is all about Cherry Pie. What are we teaching our kids?
Enjoyed I got a few of those gifts this year that left me puzzled as to why it was bought for me, and some that no thought was put into the purchase...I just smiled thanked the one doing the giving. I like to give gift cards for those that are hard to buy for, or for the person that has everything, or when I just don't have time to shop for that perfect gift...enjoyed the write, well done!

Ohboyohboyohboy, send ME those socks and footwarmers! LOL Since I've gotten older, feet always cold. Sigh...I'm grateful for anything I receive. (Except fruitcake *shudders* LOL) There are times, though, when people gift without thinking - old perfume, cheaply made things that break upon looking at them ... when you get home, throw away and say, "It's the thought that counts." :) If one doesn't know what to get for someone else, think green: cash. It's always the right size and color and ALWAYS fits! LOL
You are spot on when you say kids nowadays want all the latest in expensive gadgetry. Shoot, I'd love to get an iPod, too...maybe will go to the pawn shop later and pick one up at discount! Merry Christmas to me! LOL

i cannot remember not being thrilled at Christmas--it is an unfortunate and very self centered world it seems that folks have so much-i don't think children truly wish for things like I did--for months and couldn't wait to see it under the tree-we have so much now days i think....
What a greedy, selfish, lop sided world we truly have become. When I was a kid, any Christmas gift, no matter what - was a Grand One! Even the Underwear and Socks!!
I'm just happy with good old cash or a good ol' book to curl up with! Or notebook paper and crayons! No IPODS or Game STations for ME!! NOPE! Have NO use for those things! Hope your Christmas was good; mine was!
