SOUR LOVE

This is simply a poem about emotions. It does not personally refer to me but may speak to someone else.

 I give 

You take

Still I reach into the center of my being

Struggling to grasp more of me to offer

Just to please YOU

Unsure as to whether you are selfish

Desiring to please only yourself or

You just don’t seem to care

Could it be that what I have to offer

Is too much for you to bear

Maybe you are just unaware

That our sweet sugary love has turned sour

I need to walk away

You keep pulling me back into your space

PLEASE let go of my heart

MY SPIRIT

I REFUSE to allow you to break

Our sugary sweet love has turned sour

Goodbye my once upon a time sweet love
