Still I mourn

When will the pain go away? When will my heart not frown? When will I go to sleep, not wishing your were there? When will my smile come back? When will I feel inspired? Will I ever light up a heart, simply with my smile? Am I stuck with this feeling? Will I ever move past it? Just as I think I have, it always creeps back around. It's like a bad dream haunting. I miss you everyday. I know your gone for good, but still I mourn today. Will my eyes lock away the tears? Will I heal in time? I cannot shake this feeling, of tearing deep inside. I shouldn't feel alone without you. But it's true I do. A part of me went missing. When I lost my contact with you. copyright 2003 Marlene Bowring
