And What If She Loves Me?

I once thought I could ponder this walk of love,
I wonder does she adore?
Does she feel? Is this feeling even real...

How do I follow this crooked path straight,
If a heart fails to bend, in it a part of me ends.
Because one day the dawn breaks, this nervous pawn wakes,
To find that the soul dies awake.

How can I shake this notion of two heart beats,
Plotting off course through the end of one soul?
Trust me I know, they're my seeds that are sown,
In the fields of new found glory, lost causes to bliss.

It started with one kiss and ended with the rapture,
Could it go terribly wrong, does she find the keys flat?
Or in these sharp marks will I find three in my back?
It's getting too early to fall too late in love.

My love, who even knows of this love?
Below and above they fight to attain the anima of the artist,
But alliterations aside I find this to be the hardest.

For the ardent eyes of a watchful dream,
Seem to fall into place, I'm waiting,
Watching, breathing then dying trying to find,
One step I may rely in.

Just let me find you smiling again for me.
Fate is ahead you see, and you'll never know,
And I'll never know when and how to move it.
I wish I could just do it and love would come free,
And that some may love me, the one.
Hi! I missed you.

This is great writing. I'll multiply that by the fact that you're 16. Outstanding!

Weekends In New England by Linda Alexander

Love, romance, innocence, intrigue, danger, and lust. Life is complicated, and love even more so. Life, and love, can be hazardous to a lady's health. Especially if she's fallen in love with a married pop star.
