Well, I've won, if you could say that, I've made all the right moves, Implored correct judgement.
And I believe this is checkmate.
But I'm only sixteen. I'm only one man, mass produced in this torrent of diversity.
One single blink of one single eye of sweet mother Earth.
This door opened, but in its wave of luster, Shut all others before it.
I mean, I'm only sixteen.
I'm no scholar, no gentleman No "leader of 'men.'" Yet still you followed me home, not like a poorly kitten, You didn't walk among me, but by me. Like a creature truly to be called "love."
And what if this is something, I'm only 16. I don't know where to go from here, I'm simply stumbling upon the same old rock that has been missed so much so that much of it has eroded away.
Well, I'm only sixteen, but I'll move it, I'll destroy this despicable wheel of eternal mishaps And simply start the fire.
For I'm only sixteen, but i speak thousands. My breath, my step divides millions of forks in this future we hold so truly dear.
This society we follow and follow, all the while crippling ourself.
I am sixteen, I am no statistic, but one point on one scale that will unbalance the world.
One heart that will beat in a rhythm echoed to eternity.
Not in parables, or readings, or groups of followers, but in the night
These shadows that are thought of To be natural. these notions thought to be "fact."
Enjoy 16 while you can, it won't last long..
Great writing Evan
