~ Olie’s Rose ~
A Texas rancher Papa was, strong only with his crew. Mama born in Austria, the tougher of the two. Raising auction cattle on our ranch, named "Olie’s Rose." An Austrian wife, three young daughters, kept Papa on his toes.
"Olie" was a brother, passed away when he was new, "Rose" the family name, represents our family crew. "Olie’s Rose" to Mama, was just like her farm at home, Loving God’s earth, God’s animals, was all she’d ever known.
She fought Papa constantly, whenever livestock sold, Pleading not to sell the cows, to keep them till they’re old. "At home we keep our cattle, until their years are done." "But Honey, we have seventy-five…in your country you had one!"
