~ In Clara’s Ashes ~
Clara’s in a ginger jar, atop the mantle high, All that’s left are ashes, just a small pile, black and dry. If I could, I’d pass out tiny pinches from the pile, So all the world could walk around, wearing Clara’s smile.
Inside Clara’s ashes rests a love for all mankind, A pinch or two, for me and you. I don’t think Clara’d mind. Clara’s ashes hold the special things she used to do, For perfect strangers, just because they needed someone to.
Housed in Clara’s ginger jar, is a multitude of good, Magic granules full of knowing, all the things we should. A sprinkle of her kindness, in the hearts of yours and mine, Cleansing them of malice, with the dust she left behind.
Clara’s in a ginger jar, radiating sweet sentiment, Fine porcelain holds Clara, filled with years of good intent. Disguising precious contents, to an unsuspecting eye, The love in Clara’s ashes, atop the mantle high...

nice meter and rhyme ...
The sentiment in this poem is really beautiful. I enjoyed reading it.
