Tears run down a small child’s face,
He missed the big parade.
Mother comforts with some cookies,
And a glass of lemonade.

When life’s not what you thought it’d be,
When the new boss is a monster.
When someone hands you lemons,
Just squeeze it on some lobster.

When romance doesn’t come your way,
When love eludes your heart,

Then make a lemon tart.

When melancholy blue’s your song,
When all the jokes are told

Salt, a wedge, Tequila Gold.
