~ These Andes Mountains ~

In these Andes Mountains, a Source is close at hand,
Indefinable visions cross night skies.
In these Andes Mountains, atop a distant world,
Spirits soar before my very eyes.

Llamas sleep in silence, beneath luminous galaxies,
Undisturbed atop this sacred mound.
Astral beings fly above, enroute to other places,
Out of body travelers, passing through this Holy ground.

In these Andes Mountains, perfect energies roam free,
Exiting another space in time.
Entering new dimensions, grounded with a silver cord,
A human beings spiritual lifeline.

Early morning hours, cool breezes cross my face,
One more turn before dawn comes to light.
I gaze in awe, upon these Andes Mountains,
Resplendent spirits fading from my sight.

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
