~ Eleven Thirty seven and Twenty seconds ~

Sunday, seemed like any other, Sunday
We dressed for church, had breakfast
Rode down the lane to give our thanks
Just as we always do on God’s day of rest

Pray, we shall and sing, we will
Praising The Lord on this wonderful day
Singing His name, of His glory
Shouting hallelujah, arms held up high

Washed clean in his Holy presents
We talk and laugh of happy things
A small congregation of neighbors
Helping one another in time of need

We’ll take the long way home from church
Looking forward to Mothers Sunday dinner
After… a relaxing swing for Mother and I
Maybe a walk to the pond for some fishing

A few minutes more till the sermon is through
I close my eyes in reverence of the Holy Spirit
My heart fills with love, for life and The Almighty
My restful eyes do not reopen… nor ever

At eleven thirty seven and twenty seconds.

How precious...sometimes to look at the clock and see just when this happened.
I think of such moments as frozen in eternity, and perhaps Heaven we get to choose to live those moments again.
That would work.
