While lying deep in slumber, I could feel my spirit rise,
Floating up and hover over, someone sleeping with closed eyes.
I looked down and saw me, resting peacefully in bed,
A whisper soothed my questioning mind, this is what it said…
"Don’t be afraid… just let go… it's safe to leave your human role".
I knew I’d reached the crossroads, where the body meets the soul.
My essence floated weightless, watching over sleeping me,
When a new dimension, opened up for me to see.
I heard encouragement once more, in reassuring tones,
"Don't be afraid… just let go… embrace the wonders shown".
My fluid form crossed over, into boundless space untold,
Flowing through the galaxies, as more and more unfold.
Beautiful sounds escape my lips, my heart fills to overflowing.
Answered prayers, blessed am I, to receive the gift of knowing.
It wasn’t time for me to stay, across this vast divide,
But, it was time for me to glimpse, what’s on the other side…
