I believe there's a "Sweet Rosie" in every young mans life.
“Sweet Rosie”
My hair is slicked back and my shoes have a shine,
My levis are creased and fit tight.
My Oldsmobile Cutlass is polished and buffed,
Cause I’m dating Rosie tonight.
The mere thought of Rosie, sets me on fire,
From my head to the tip of my toes,
Cause when Rosie loves me, she takes me to heights,
Most guys at my age, never go.
So what if she’s older, she makes me feel bolder,
She taught me the meaning of lust.
I’m approaching that time frame of natures sweet call,
When the growth of a boy, is a must.
As I stand here wondering, how long it will be,
Till the man in the boy will emerge.
Thank God while I’m waiting and anticipating,
Sweet Rosie will help with the urge.
