*Listen* *Hear my call, and my despair* *I am tired, don’t leave me here* *Do you listen to my voice?* *Tell me please another choice* *One day I sprint, the next I fall* *Trying hard… make sense of all* *Are you real, or is it me* *Help me find reality* *Problem is I can’t relate* *I try so hard, sometimes too late* *Tell me please another fate* *Before life’s breath disintegrates* *Come to me I need you near* *Don’t abandon so much fear* *Why so empty, why so sad* *Feeling worthless and not glad* *Hiding within these four walls* *Thoughts are ceasing, no sleep a tal* *No cry for help, guilt strangles me* *Where hath gone my energy* *Am I loved, or do you care* *Am I worth it, so much despair* *Squeezing out my last life’s breath* *Palm cross my heart, I welcome death* *Take away this pain from me* *No moment more of suffering* *No more succumb to all these fears* *No more to shed another tear* *Just peaceful slumber my escape* *My only hope the one I take* *Carolee Dennis-Woosley* *May 18, 2012*

I know so little of this condition, it's hard for me to contemplate except that death may be more peaceful than trying to live life.
