You never know when you may be in the company of an Angel, for they love us and protect our spirit ~Lily of Lough Neagh~
Echoes
Utterances as light as air Enfold around you Pulling up a chair aside Rarity of this whispered breath Not heard always by human ear Only those that know and are of this realm
For whence we slumber Or in awaked ness The messenger divine Echoes light sweetness Whilst tender eyes look upon Our human form we have been given
A life force sprinkled upon us Bathing and renewing our body Love a divinity most cherished For they have carried our heart When we thirst, on sun’s rays And moonlights beams
When in the dream state with my eyes closed things get a bit mystical at times. But I see, hear, and feel no angels. Therefore, making me a rather dull boy.

Angels are all around us, they will manifest themselves when we need them.
Not when we think we need them but when they think we need them.
At these moments we will recognize them.
I have one angel around me and I love her. A very beautiful write.
Stay well and keep writing

I have heard the voice of angel and it brought tears to my eyes. I have seen one in my presence while the angel I spoke to cried. I am a blessed woman says Father David.
there are deffinately angels in amongst us and you have penned of them marvelously well in this write. Most cannot see, hear or except thier existance and that in itself is unfortunate. thank you for sharing such a vision with the rest of us

I believe angels come to us as a source of comfort in bad times and rejoice with us in good times. So many signs! It's that call you get, that stranger you meet, that intuition or knowing......Oh, yes, I sure do believe!
My husband and I met an angel once; it is a very unusual story... perhaps I should write a poem about it. When we left the room, Ed turned to me saying"do you suppose?" as I turned to him saying "I think we may have"... The man knew everything we were thinking even a discussion we had right before meeting him and he gave us the answer to our questions and told us why. It was an amazing event!

Carol, I believe in Angels, for I have met some in my lifetime...I had a terrible cramp in my calf and my sister and I were walking to our gate at the airport. Someone came up and showed me how to get rid of the cramp, without me saying what was wrong and then that person was gone---I think it was a woman and we never saw her again.
Read this twice, Carol, because it spoke to me and I wanted to be sure that it did. I'm now sure. You covered so much unanswerable ground within the structure of your poem, and I'm not quite certain I actually believe in Angels, but I'm very sure I believe in something. I never did until my wife died. It was the day after and I was sitting at the computer in the bedroom. Nipperdawg, my part beagle, part whatever, was laying beneath the desk at my feet. I was attempting to write a poem about my wife and her struggle with death. Words would not come. It was deathly quiet and suddenly I heard, plainly and clearly Dottie's voice saying, "Darling." The Nipperdawg heard it too and he came out from under the desk and looked toward the living room. He took off toward the living room with me right behind him. He stopped in front of her favorite chair. She wasn't there, of course. How could she be? The recliner was not rocking like it would have been in a movie. Goosebumps covered my arms as I stepped outside to see if anyone had passed by the window and said the word, but I knew they didn't, because I knew Dottie's voice. I walked back inside and The Nipperdawg was still sitting in front of the recliner, head cocked, listening to things I could not hear, perhaps? Maybe seeing things I could not see? I've been told animals can do that. I went back to the computer trying to still my irregular heartbeat. It took a while for that to happen It took longer for The Nipperdawg to calm down. Hours actually. He acted strange for most of the rest of the day. I've learned something. Rather I unlearned a few things. Like my take on people who say they see and hear things . . . spirits . . . ghosts . . . I don't know how to describe my feelings about this except to say that it was real. I'm sorry to go on and on, but your poem about Angels brought that whole strange scene back to me.
Yes! I have probably "said" this before but I really do not know where I'd be today if angels had not saved me time and time again, and sometimes, even from myself. Thank you, C. Love and best wishes,
Regis
