My heart has always loved others before myself... I know it should be the other way around... ~Lily of Lough Neagh~

I’m just a simple woman One with a simple soul Filled with love for others For them they ought to know I put all them before me When I knew their heart did pain Always right beside them When a lump on pup’s head came Then one day my heart broke And I was left behind My friends no longer love me No longer me to find I don’t chase ones for treasures Or believe dreams do come true I live a simple life My friends I’m not like you I’m just a simple woman A heart so filled with love I’d give my one last nickel To make sure you’re all loved Carolee Dennis-Woosley May 7, 2014

"My friends no longer love me" tells me that they were not friends. Like I told Stephen, researchers have found that we only have three or four true friends in a lifetime. All the rest are just acquaintances that come and go. If you think real hard, you'll know who your friends are, and know that I'm not one. I'm just a guy who admires your beauty, style, and heart.

Somehow, as far as I am concerned, the words "just" and "simple" do not apply to you. You are unique, complex and beautiful outside and inside. So I disagree with you although it is perhaps not "my place" to do so. Thank you for sharing of your "self," Carol. Love, peace, and best wishes to you,

I never "left" you. I was like a big sister and told you a thing or two to try to toughen you up and make you understand that everything was not your fault but you WOULD NOT LISTEN!!!!

I believe that self love is acknowledging that you are in this thing called life, you accept it, and you intend to make the most of it. I'd say you have it, and you are not afraid of sharing it. Falling in love with self, or with love are the dangerous paths. You are OK.
