My dreams vary from reddish tint
Of the peach-blossom to the red ore
Of the Grand Canyon shining at dawn;
From the rose clouds on the misty peaks
To the red-capped crane which convey me
From the Earthly Grotto to Celestial Lake. . .
And though if you visit anyone of my dreams,
You'd see more pink azaleas and lavender wisterias
And pink rhododendrons standing in bud and waiting
For a few more warm days to burst open abundance
You would concur with the commonly reddish code
Of my dreams—the color of an irrepressible desire.
It's always great to dream in beautiful colours. My dreams are always in colour, but some friends of mine say they dream in black and white which I wonder why because everything we see daily is in colour.

Pink and red are my favorite colours, although I should like green because I'm a Taurus, yet green is not a colour that I would like to dress myself in. My favorite colours are: black, pink, red. I like yellow, but not on the clothes I would wear.
I have no desire to enter your dreams, but you have given us a description that allows me to believe that you are dreaming about close examination of pink fading into red petals that move beyond mere blossoms and are the entrance to ecstasy. ;-)
Yes, I think you are on to something in your dreams. Colors do inspire certain moods and attitudes and have great symbolic value. And yes, I think I do concur that red is the "color of an irrepressible desire." What that desire might be I will keep to myself.
