A Time Of The Year


It’s Christmas time of the year,
a time of our Savior’s birth,
a time of joy and good cheer,
a time for Peace on Earth.

It’s Christmas time of the year,
a time of thanks to God above,
a time to hold love ones near,
a time to share thoughts of love.

It’s Christmas time of the year,
a time to give to those without,
a time open hearts shed a tear,
a time to embrace and to shout.

It’s Christmas time of the year,
a time of beauty under the sun,
a time to reflect and be sincere,
a time to enjoy and to have fun.

It’s Christmas time of the year,
a time of thanks, gifts bestowed,
a time to confront our finite fear,
a time of our Savior to Behold.
