It overcomes our heart this time of the year,
Christmas brings us hope and childlike joys,
a time consumed in grace to forget our fears,
mesmerized by happy children with their toys.
A time where peace is lived not just a dream,
where conflict and animosities are set aside,
a moment that makes silent earthly schemes,
ecstasy and wonderment of the yule time tide.
Where indulging in thought of a child’s mind,
creates a fantasy with a warm hearted appeal,
an escape from reality lost in Christmas time,
taking time to experience love is forever real.
Time to reflect and remember our Savior’s birth,
while Santa and his reindeer fly the sky overhead,
then, just a moment, a glimpse of peace on earth,
and the warm security of being nestle in our bed.
So remember Christmas is not just another day,
it’s a treasure of love, peace, and you and me,
embracing the moment is how we find our way,
the Spiritual essence of what life was meant to be.
