Empty Until . . .

The desert appears empty
But it is teaming with life.

The glass seems empty
But it is brimming with water.

The air appears empty
But it moves with incredible stealth.

The ocean seems empty
But it is filled with incredible wealth.

Letters seem empty
But they are full of sound.

Words seem empty
But their meanings abound.

Deep space appears empty
But it is full of darkness.

The daytime sky seems empty
But it is full of light.

The mind seems empty
Until your smile lights up your face.

The heart feels empty
Until you extend your mysterious grace.

The house feels empty
Until your presence fills it with light

The world seems empty
Until it shines with color burning bright.

The spirit seems invisible
Until it fills our hearts with essence.

The One seems like zero
Until it manifests its presence.

The eye seems empty
Until it meets the universal ‘I’.
