Truths to Remember By John Herlihy The earth in orbit revolves, The mind on earth evolves, The bud closes and opens, Our life, mystery betokens. Forgiveness does soothe, Revenge creates a groove, Happiness inspires regret, Disinterest has us forget. The joy of extended bliss, Does always caress me, The weight of my despair, Does always depress me. Love awakens tomorrow, Feeling of passion on borrow, Hate never makes amends, A promise forever portends. Friendship as rain showers, Love blooms spring flowers, Our latent fear is rejection, Our prime goal is perfection. A sense of failure demoralizes, A sense of success energizes, Camaraderie brings together, Loneliness seems as forever. The world a great pretender, Virgin nature offers splendor, Truths always to remember, As we prepare to surrender.

ABSOLUTELY! WE, ESPECIALLY THOSE THAT HAVE COME SO FAR BY FAITH AND HAVE BEEN BLESSED TO ATTAIN AND ENTER INTO THE WISDOM OF 'OLD AGE' SHOULD LAY ASIDE ALL THAT HINDERS; SUPERFLUITY AND FOOLISHNESS OF THE 'FLESH', PUTTING AWAY CHILDISH 'THINGS' LOOKING FORWARD, WITH A PEACEFUL HEART AND MIND, TO EACH NEW DAY WHICH, VERY WELL, MAY BE OUR LAST. IN OTHER WORDS; WE NEVER KNOW WHEN OUR MAKER WILL CALL US...SURRENDER ALL...AND BE READY, AMEN. THANKS FOR SHARING, MY FRIEND. I DO SO ENJOY 'YOU'.
