Poem Artwork

 Do It!

You must start where you are and do it right now;

Never mind what is needed; don’t worry about how;

Hold on to the vision; do not let it go;

For once you start moving, what you couldn’t see will show;

Up just in time; it was there all along;

You just couldn’t see it; your focus was wrong;

You must start where you are and do it right now;

Never mind what is needed; don’t worry about how;

And while you’re in motion, amazed you will be;

How life will deliver what is needed; you’ll see;

Don’t get discouraged by the challenges you face;

Just learn the lessons and continue the race;

To finish what you started there is much work to do;

The work that is needed begins with you.

Absolutely beautiful! This poem says soooooo much in a concise way. Love it. I often remind myself,"don’t worry about how".

A great encouragement for us all. Stop talking about it and just do it!

Some reason, Michael Jackson's, Beat It, just popped into my mind.

Good one, Robb. I like the long view of this piece, the expectation of actual work rather than magical thinking and instant result.

Absolutely fine piece of work here. Robb, and you are so correct when you say . . .

"For once you start moving, what you couldn’t see will show;

Up just in time; it was there all along;"

I have found that to be true in every endevour I have attempted.
