In every dutiful mom is a hidden outrageous persona...
They jeer at my jeans, Jest at my antiques. "Mom, go to IKEA, buy something unique." My matronly image requires a tweak... Perhaps I'll evolve a Madonna mystique! Try a bustier instead of a blouse-- Gyrate as I ditch all that's "old" in the house. Bring in fluffy white couches, floors sleek, and shiny, Belt out songs with an "edge" in skirts up to my hiney, But then who would cook, and set and example? Comfort, nag, read homework samples? In pink tissue now hide the bustier-- I'll wear it for Sam when the kids are away! I can't be Madonna, L'il Kim, or Selena for more than a day!
