Louie LaBard
Louie LaBard came to our town one year
Singing lyrics to songs, as he played them by ear.
Spinning tales of adventure and tales of romance,
His enchanted tunes could make any toes dance.
His magical music so merry with mirth
Made lame folks start leaping; the barren gave birth.
Folks came from afar, for his fame was immense.
Louie played for them all with a rhythm intense.
He would wiggle and rock with vigor and vim,
Until people were swaying to imitate him.
Toes started tapping feet started to dance.
His movements were planned, leaving nothing to chance.
Singing his songs Louie led them away.
They danced from our village like children at play.
They followed when Louie sang they could be free!
They all danced with Louie right into the sea.
Singing and dancing like lemmings they drowned
And Louie LaBard has yet to be found.
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in t.x, karen lynn. :D
