author's note: I didn't know whether to classify this under "horror" of "humor," but humor won.
When you visit Indiana, there are things that you should know.
Cuz we have tricky weather, and it's not just winter's snow.
We find in Indiana, when we get a summer rain,
The hiways can get flooded, causing misery and pain.
Driving through the dark flood water is something not to do.
Sometimes though, I forget this rule and get soaked through and through.
Sometimes the rain can be quite terrible. I can understand the difficulty in classifying it because I love the rain. I have a hard time thinking something bad about something I love. But I will dare to read any poem about the rain. Great job!
Ware a "lifejacket" if you enter that dark flood waters....hehehehe!!

You silly thing.. hehe. Yes, I can understand your dilemma: horror vs humor.. em.. you made the right choice, Lonny. You know, sometimes I can almost "see" the grin on your face as you send these gems to the screen. Always a pleasure.. katy.

here, in texas, we could USE some of that rain (but leave out the stygian skies...we get enough of that in the spring LOL)

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
