Fire Walking

Wrought from some long-ago volcano
like a diamond of rare antiquity
the first goddess of life emerged like a tornado
and fell into the arms of me
Like lava, her body’s sleek and molten
like fire, the highlights in her hair
like light, she leaves the shadows boltin’
back to their grimey lair
I’m melting from her amazing heat
I’m burning inside with her fire
Oh, Rachel Aline, I think you’re pretty sweet
and I’m aflame from your intense desire!
