The sun is taking
a southern hiatus

the the cooled down
Resting from some days of toil...
If I were the sun

Yes, the southern sun can be brutal at times. That's why I give myself only about 15 minutes in it each day just to get my vitamin D and that warm feeling that chase is the way the chill of air conditioning on my skin.
Ahhh . . . The sun . . . My little mutt Zoe does not take heat well . . . On our walks every day she eagerly searches out shade where she can lie down and cool her little tummy off. Sometimes I wish I could do the same . . .
