celebrations from coast to coast
tiny unforgetables
playin' near the edge.
marchin' bands a playin'
funny clowns a dancin'
all to celerate the day
when flags wave
and free men prayed.
little people happy
and really don't know why
joining the joyful throngs
never wishing sad good-byes.
Yes, a joyous time to remember that freedom is a precious entity that can be taken away if we're not vigilant. The good news is that each year more people find freedom in this world than ever before, thanks to examples set by the independence declaration by a few brave man in 1776.
