THROUGH THE PAIN

You did everything to stay by me

In spite of the odds against you

You were my rock through the trying times

You kept me sane with your love.

You made sure I believed in me

You told me I was beautiful on those days I felt like a troll

You made me know there is one person that will never turn their back on me

That person was you

You cradled me through the dark days

And made me know the sun will shine again

You brought me food when I could not get myself out of bed

You pulled me into the shower when I could have cared less

You danced around silly to make me laugh

Laid in bed by me on those cold nights in the dark when I did not want light

You cradled me through the stormy nights

Knowing I fear the dark

How can I fight the love I have for you in my heart

I shall always keep you in that spot

Right below my left breast.
