There it is, up on the wall;
behold, now it begins to crawl.
Just got up, still quite groggy;
still haven't attended to my morning coffee.
That spider looks so creepy;
better do something zippy.
Oh no, where did it go;
I'd really like to know.
I should peek behind the curtain;
nothing like being quite certain.
Will it quickly jump out at me;
or will I become a frantic evacuee?
It fell to the floor;
looked like a big score.
It then jumped on my leg;
took care of it like a cleg.
There are those who won't kill a spider;
they prefer to catch it with a plastic cylinder.
I don't want to kill it either;
just don't want to go to sleep in a quiver.
Now it's not up on the wall;
I simply refuse to caterwaul.
Now I lay me down to sleep;
It's gone for now, my sanity to keep.
As I wake up the next morning;
getting in the car, it's very disappointing.
There it is, hanging down from the visor;
keep the window closed, now more the wiser.
