Ecstasy

By Scott D. Zachary
Copyright 2004

Anticipating eventual starbursts,
I smiled cozily and warmly within.
Like a logging truck on a downhill run,
There was no stopping its ephemeral spray.

Momentarily, the urge began to ease;
For an instant, my thrumming need paused.
Just as quickly, I soared past the point of no return.
My body quaked on the pending brink of ultimate ecstasy.

Ahhhh, choo!
