The Dancing Dick

This is a true story. It happened at my friend's and my apartment after we got out of school for Medical Assisting.

There was a New Year's masquerade
The people arrived in parade
There was this one guy
Who came by and by
Dressed in a costume which he made

A penis was how he was dressed
His costume won for it was best
It was quite a crowd
Perhaps a bit loud
The neighbors were not too impressed 

The guy in the penis disguise
Had just a slit over his eyes
Which he could see through
He drank down a few
Too many and said his good byes

The party went into the night
The parking lot held quite a sight
He staggered the lot
For he had forgot
Where he had parked his car that night

The neighbors had had enough so
They called the cops soon they did show
They said, "Keep it down"
Then said with a frown,
"Tell dancing dick he's got to go!"

And I thought you were going to write about the affect you had on Richard Nixon… ;-)

Thanks for the cute story. I bet that poor guy regretted doing it. I'm surprised he didn't disrobe and streak across the party, too.

poor dick, arrived at the party but never "came"
so he had to go, leave it to the cops to handle the situation

Ahhh . . . That could very well be a metaphor. Dancing Dick's can surely be an asshole at times, I completely agree. You put this together quite well, Jane.
