Beach fairies love to romp about on the big beach rocks.

Poem Artwork

Blanket on the beach
Sun haze blurs my view
Movement on the rocks
Yellow pink and blue

Entertaining sight
As they start to fly
Did I say they flew
Shone against the sky

Closer had to see
What did make me smile
Movement on the rocks
Fairies all the while

If you wanted to hurt a guy call him a fairie. Your pic and poem go hand in hand. Nicely done.

Enchanting poem, but in English folklore fairies are often nasty pieces of work. So when your sand castles get flattened, look for the tiny footprints in the sand :)

Faries on the beach,
that's not hard to understand.
That's where they go,
to work on their tan.

Those fairies, they just keep on playing and flying around. If we actually saw one would be another story. But lovely in a poem such as this. John

Your eyes are honed to see these sprites, but it could be just heat reflecting like a mirage in your sight. But it's probably butterflies with their miraculous wings, conjuring up faeries and other magical things. Psychedelic flashbacks always help, too.
